Out of the blue, Betu asked me that he wants to have a sister. Not completely surprised, I started to explain him that when papa and mumma 'make' the baby they don't know if it will be a boy or girl. God wants to keep that as a surprise. It is much later when the doctor does the checkup that you can tell if the baby in Mumma's tummy is a girl or a boy and sometimes after the baby comes out only then we figure that out.
He kept listening with a complete bemused look on his face. And then he asked me "Aap baby apne tummy mein 'order' karte ho?" I had such a laugh at his innocence. When these kids see everything being 'ordered' on phone or on the internet, they feel babies also come that way :)
Sweet. Isn't it?
